We had a wonderful time here. The property is amazing and exactly as described on the Perfect Hideaway’s website. It’s amazing for a family holiday and a great place to relax and get away from the city life. The kids especially enjoyed the fishing. Calitzdorp is just around the corner, and we had some nice trips to the wine farms in town. Fernadez is a gem and he really made our stay even more worthwhile. He is not in your way and is very respectful. He helped us with everything, and it was a joy to have him around. I would give this hideaway a 10 out of 10!
"It was the most amazing experience ever! A beautiful, comfortable house with a lovely kitchen to cook in. Having access to the river and the kayak, the evening walks and braais; in short, a little slice of heaven. The deck with those views, the birdlife and fishing with evenings in front of the fire. I find myself going back to look at the photos and I even submitted one to the Daily Maverick as the photo of the day. What a special place for special family time."
