We currently have three distinct retreats — Aloe Arbour Retreat House (adults-only, private chef, White River), Aloe Arbour Cottages (self-catering, family-friendly, White River), and Karoo Mountain River House (self-catering, Calitzdorp). Each offers a different experience — visit the property pages to find your fit.
At Aloe Arbour Retreat House, breakfast is included and a private chef is available for lunch or dinner using farm-sourced, seasonal ingredients. The cottages and Karoo Mountain River House are fully equipped for self-catering.
The Retreat House is adults-only and designed for quiet, intentional stays. The Aloe Arbour Cottages are family-friendly and welcome children warmly.
Yes. All properties have controlled access and on-site security measures so you can relax completely.
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 10am. Early or late arrangements can be requested in advance — just let us know.
Yes. Both Aloe Arbour Retreat House and Karoo Mountain River House can be reserved for exclusive private use — ideal for group retreats, family gatherings, or corporate stays. Subject to availability.
